At Watkins Racing our horses are cared for by a dedicated team and our stable offers the following services.
Professionalism
With over 15 years experience in the training industry Bruce Watkins’ expertise and competence is second to none.
One-on-one approach
Bruce’s one-on-one approach applies to not only the horses he trains but also to all the owners. Bruce makes it a priority to keep in regular contact with owners to give updates on horse progress.
Inspection and purchase of yearlings/horses at sales
Bruce has an excellent eye for choosing yearlings at the annual Magic Millions and Inglis bloodstock sales. We have a better than 50% strikerate for purchases to wins with the limited number of horses we have purchased.
Hands on
Bruce works closely with the team who are committed to ensure that the best attention is given to each individual horse.
Owner involvement
We welcome new owners and as a stable we like to promote the full racing experience, including stable and track work visits. Please call us first to arrange a time so we are able to ensure someone can greet you upon arrival.
Breaking in
We can take your horse from his first ride right through to the winning post.
